Elizabeth Maskell

Hello, I have the privilege of being the Headteacher of Sabden Primary School in the beautiful Ribble Valleyat the foot of Pendle Hill and have worked here for 7 years. My teaching experience has been very varied across my career from teaching Service Children in Germany to working at one of the smallest schools in the country.

Laura Murray
CLASS 3 TEACHER
Hello. I'm Mrs Murray, well-known for being found singing in corridors and dramatically reading my favourite stories to anyone that will listen! I have worked across the school in a variety of year groups but am currently the very proud teacher year 5 and 6.

CLASS 1 TEACHER
I went to university to study a BA Combined Honours Degree in Early Years & Special Needs, then I went on to complete a PGCE in Lower Primary at Lancaster University. I qualified in 2014 and spent some time as a supply teacher before teaching Reception for 3 years.

I am thrilled to be spending my first year as a early careers teacher at Sabden Primary. I have previously worked at the school as both a student teacher and teaching assistant, and look forward to growing as part of a super team.

EARLY YEARS TEACHER
Hello, I am the Early Years Foundation Stage Class teacher here at Sabden. I am in my 15th year working in children’s education and my third here at our fabulous school in Sabden.
Hello, I am a Teaching Assistant at Sabden Primary School and have worked at this lovely school for over 17 years. I have recently qualified as a Forest School Practioner and looking forward to putting my skills to practice. Outside of school I have 3 horses which keeps me quite busy. One of my other interests is travelling to other countries to discover their cultures.
