The children will start by studying and writing non-chronological reports about space. They will then take part in debates before learning how to write balanced arguments.
This half term we will concentrate algebra and ratio then measurement, perimeter, area and volume.
We will be learning about the Earth, Sun, Moon and other planets and their movement in relation
The children will investigate abstract painters such as Jackson Pollock, Kandinsky, Jean Miro and Mark Rothko. They will create their own abstract paintings for imaginary planet surfaces.
Now that the weather is becoming warmer, the children will be enjoying athletics and playing netball.
We will continue to learn the recorder and glockenspiel using 'hip hop' as a basis of our lessons.
