Meet the Team

Class 3 is taught by Mrs Murray and is supported by Mrs Esson, Teaching Assistant.

• Coach Murphy leads our PE lessons

We are a mixed Year 5 and Year 6 class, working together as one learning community. We support one another, celebrate each other’s achievements and aim high in everything we do.

In Class 3, we believe in being kind, working hard, and never giving up. We encourage everyone to be curious learners, confident communicators, and respectful team members. Every child is valued and encouraged to be the best version of themselves.

Weekly Overview

• PE Days: Wednesday and Friday – please ensure that children come into school on these days wearing their PE kits.

Information for Parents

Please ensure that all bookbags, lunch bags, coats, jumpers and PE kits are clearly labelled with your child's name.

• Homework Expectations:

  • Weekly Spellings – tested each Tuesday

  • Daily Reading – reading books and library books are changed as needed. Please ensure you are keeping up with your reading and signing your child's reading record.

  • Times Tables Rockstars – to build speed and accuracy

  • Doodle (Maths & English) – regular use at home encouraged to support new concepts and spellings.

  • Half termly creative homework- a homework grid is sent home each half term linked to our learning for you to explore
