Spring Term 2021

Home Learning

Due to national restrictions schools were closed to children (except those of critical workers) from 5th January 2021.

During this time we have all been working hard at home through online learning or in school.

We have read and created work linked to Oliver Twist, including diary entries, a wanted poster and newspaper reports. We have learnt how bees make honey and completed an explanation text to show this. Completing SPAG activities and reading comprehensions has been really valuable for our continued learning.

In Maths we have become super star measurers and continued to consolidate times tables. We have also learnt to partition in different ways to multiply and divide.

We have enjoyed exercising at home with our families with lots of running, cycling , yoga and even cheerleading.

During out home learning time we have recognised events such as internet safety day, story-telling week, Chinese New Year and many more.

We have been developing our Growth Mindset and the importance of Wellbeing.

Here are some of the wonderful things we have been up to.
